Hemiaccoyo name evolved from mixing a very famous Peruvian sire,
Hemingway, with the Accoyo line. The Hemiaccoyo line has continued to
produce the highest quality, shine, crimp and density of fleece.
The fleece is fine, with strong crimp, great shine and a variety of
colors. The Hemiaccoyos tend to maintain this quality fleece
throughout their life span and with their cria. Speaking of color,
they range from pure white to silver grey, soft and darker fawn, all
shades of brown and pure black with all the shades in between. There
is an Alpaca color just right for anyone.
Because of the high quality and limited availability of these Accoyo
and Hemingway animals, Silver Creek Farm has put
their focus on the Accoyo and Hemiaccoyo™ lines.
